Certificate on REGON number – How can an entrepreneur obtain REGON number?
Currently, to obtain a REGON number you do not have to submit a separate application to the GUS. While filling in the CEIDG-1 application when establishing a business activity, you can attach a REGON number application form. You will receive it together with registration of your business activity in a city office or commune office. You will receive the number assigned to you by mail within a few days after you set up your business. Until that time you can continue your business activity without any worries, because the REGON number is not indicated on invoices or applications to the US and ZUS.

Currently the REGON number is assigned primarily for statistical reasons. Entrepreneurs do not need to put it on invoices or stamps.
